Summary: The newcomers to a fishing village are a man who is escaping the gangsters after him and his girlfriend who is returning to her hometown. This may be as safe a place as any to lie low. Bored and fretting at first the couple find preoccupation in opposite ways. One settles in and becomes part of the community. The other picks up corruption and becomes a betrayer.
