Summary: This documentary chronicles the combat training and eventual deployment of 1 Platoon, Mike Company, 3rd Battalion, of the Royal Canadian Regiment. In preparation for ISAF combat operations in Afghanistan, the platoon trains for several months in North America before going overseas. This documentary follows them throughout 2008, in training at CFB Petawawa, Ontario, CFB Wainwright, Alberta, and Fort Bliss, Texas. The final episode follows the platoon in their first two weeks on the ground in Afghanistan.
