Narrated by the only 5-time Super Bowl winning head coach in NFL history, the New England Patriots Bill Belichick. The World War II Foundation hired one of France's top aerial Drone camera companies to film some of the most iconic locations in Normandy from D-Day. The result is some of the most spectacular scenes of the landing beaches and battlefields viewers have ever seen. In 2017 the WWII Foundation tells the story of these famous locations utilizing ONLY aerial footage, along with archival footage taken during the invasion on June 6, 1944. The WWII Foundation matches 1-2 D-Day veterans with each location where our drone filmed so these veterans can share their own personal stories of where they were and what they were doing on D-Day, one of the most important days in the history of the world.
