A young woman working for the United Nations is taken hostage by a group of guerrilla fighters in Vietnam. When her father, a wealthy businessman, finds out that his daughter is in dangerous hands, he calls on Major Howard Toliver, who works at the California Youth Authority juvenile prison, to get her back. At first Major Toliver refuses the offer, but when young men in the prison offer to go on the mission, he recruits six of the juvenile prisoners to go with him. The young soldiers have to overcome their personal differences and work together when they arrive in Vietnam in order to complete the mission and live through the deadly battles that await them.—JenExxifer
